Do you know why many people have a hole in the window? Please reply.

@norwaykid7 Hey sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I am actually shocked that Kyosho does not tell you to cut a hole in front and back like all nitro engine cars have. The engine runs incredibly hot without the holes and still VERY hot with the holes. The hotter an engine runs the richer you have to run it to lubricate it. But generally speaking, richer means less power (to a point), so she bogs down alot. Hope all this helps.

maybe I want to buy this model but can it ride to sand and is that good for the engine?

@michaeltaal1 Yeah sand is alright. It gets into things, but as long as your engines air filter is secure it should be fine. But like I said, sand gets up into things, like the main spur gear and things like that. While I think it would work, I would suggest keeping a VERY close eye on it and carefully go through it between runs to pick out any little rocks from the gears and any place else. Also watch it closely while driving it. If it acts strange stop right away and go see whats wrong.

Am i mistaken or am i hearing "do your ears hang low" in the background about a minute into the vid? Also, is this a good car if to get as a first nitro rc??

@bigvuch I think it was an icecrem truck. :p Honestly I would say no. I am not very good at Nitro. Infact I don't have any nitro cars anymore. I sold the DRX to a friend. I was going to convert it to electric. It is my understanding that Traxxas makes very reliable, easy to start, easy to tune nitro engines, but I have personally never owned one. I would stay away from the low end Exceed kits and things at that level. Very VERY low quality.

When i bought my kyosho arstreak 500 gp the settings was way wrong to !

When i holded the boat on the side the fuel were just flushing out of the exhaust pipe :S

Any help would be great people got one of these other week and are having problems running engine in. Done what it says but had to open low speed valve 5 turns cause it would not start with 2 and half turn. But now it idols good after messing with idol need valve but when it goes and u stop it it starts to rev its arse of and tries running away with its self. Any ideas why would be appropriated

@HeliDragon510 Well i got the DRX about a month and a half ago and ive run maybe a gallon of fuel through it so far without any real faults. My only discrepancy was that the exhaust gasket was installed improperly which was easy to fix.
