It's a shame that this film isn't more widely available, even if it's only in parts on YouTube. It's an important and moving story, and so impressive that it was written by those who survived it. The men who died and those who survived have my great respect.

the young boy from Tyrone in this movie is bassed on my father Ciaran McGillicuddy, this is true, my father was arrested when he was 15 and went on the blanket, he was the youngest man on the blanket. I have proof if you dont beleive me.
