Queensland Transport - Fatal 4 - Drink Driving (Australia)

This group of 4 (seemingly very old) Queensland Transport ads are quite well done. Shot from the perspective of an injured person, concentrating on what they term the "Fatal 4" - Drink Driving, Fatigue, Speeding, and not wearing a Seatbelt.

It's not a typo. Just a difference in the way American-based countries, and the UK and it's former colonies spell things. Aluminum/Aluminium, for example? :)

My connection? I have absolutely no idea. I just have a facination with them. When I was a kid I was scared of them (I'm in the UK) and I'd always change the channel when they came on the TV. Then I saw some TAC ads played on a show over here called Tarrant on TV hosted by Chris Tarrant where they look at world television and I thought they were great. I guess I'm just desensitised to the shock factor now. Much like Victorians, which led to the TAC dropping the harsher campaigns.

I don't think the TAC is dropping the raw ones, but my feeling was that the youth market is harder to get with those types of ads. It think it's great that you're posting them. Keep it up!
