Innovations Knitting Machine: Brim of Hat PART 1

Here is the video (PART 1) with detailed instructions informing you on how to make the brim of a hat while it is still on your Innovations Knitting Machine. I have spend a long time trying to figure out how to do it. There is another video on here that mentions the brim of the hat but does not go into detail showing you how to do it. @Zebraboy19 Thank you for your response. The reviews were all different some loves it and some hated it. Do you like this product a lot? I've ordered it, I'm excited to get it but at the same time I'm worried. But it looks so good on your video.

@muffinn28 Yeah I really like this product. It is fun and easy to use. You can make a winter hat in no time. It is fun making hats and donating them to schools and hospitals as well. I have made double knit hats and scarf sets. This year I got a new machine, The BOND ultimate sweater machine. It was my mom's. She never took it out of the box. I got it this year after she passed away March 28, 2011. I really love that product as well. :) I just love my knitting machines.

@Zebraboy19 Yeah, that's one of my plan. Giving hats and scarves for christmas and giving them to the people who needs it. Do you like the sweater machine better? and you can do different stitches on this machine? I didn't know that. And I'm sorry about your mother.

@muffinn28 Thanks I am getting through it. It is rough. You can do different stitches on the sweater machine. I am sure there is a way to do different stitches on this machine as well. I have never tried it though. I think it would be difficult. I really like both machines. If you looked in my youtube videos you can see some snowmen I made with the innovations machine. I also knit with knitting looms as well. :)

I also have the ultimate sweater machine in the box for about 5 years.....I watched you brim hat video and I am not sure where to find the loops to bring up from the first row, finding the first one was pretty easy after that, not so much.....

How do you make it so the beginning row doesn't unravel? I am following the directions for casting on, pulling it tight, but it still wants to unravel when I go to pull the piece up and make the brim.
