  • Crying shame they removed the music. Not very prudent also.

This movie made me fall in love with two things: Cervantes, and the Smashing Pumpkins.

Watching the dread ghost pirate brawl accompanied with such lyrics as "You know I'm not dead" in the background was awesome.

Oh well, this movie made me buy their CD, so I could always sync it while watching this movie. Too bad they'll be missing out on costumers like me, whom would have done the same.

  • Defnetely, Music fitted so perfect. Its a pity...

  • Hey, first of all. The Video is mad by Tharon Mortis aka Twisted Jester, not by me.

The Move at 1.24 is not in the Movelist, you are right. I Think the right Input is a4B. Didnt play the Game for a while. But its an easy Input.

The Air Time of the Moves is normal, because all Launchers hit on Counterhit. Try Soul Charging till Level 3 and the do 3B, you'll see, you get the same Airtime.

Most of the Combos in the Video are Pure Just Frames, really really hard to do.

  • i did that move at 1:24 its extremely easy to do. What puzzles me is y didnt namco put that move in the combo list?

  • Thanks Doc, very helpfull this.

And sorry for the mix up, I frequently mix up the guy posting with the guy creating the vid.

I still owe an Xbox even now and I don't plan on getting any other console other then computers in the future.

Once in a while I dust off my Xbox and start playing the classics again. Soul Calibur is definitly high up on that list.

  • What puzzles me more about this video is 2 things though:

The move at 1:24 that Cervantes makes... It's not on any of the moves list.

I've been able to faintly replicate by repeatedly pressing 4aB , but Cervy doesn't do it consistently. Am I missing a prerequisite manouvre for the move?

Other then that, how does Docvizzo manage to get that much air time on his launching moves? Seems pretty unreal... Is it another glitch?

In fact, how much of this is caused by "bugs"?

  • The directions for those that keep move lists without arrows are like this: 789 4 6 123 3 would mean tapping "forward-down". As for A+G or B+G if you play the game on an X-Box: A is a horizontal strike, X on your pad. B is a vertical strike, Y on your pad. G is a block, A on your pad. A+G or B+G combinations give you grabs. This stuff is way to complicated to use in a real match, though it looks cool.
  • what does the 3A+G and 3B+G means?

  • ah i did not know about this, and i was in the SCII forum xD...

  • I dont think there a differences between GC,PS and Box, concerning the Engine. So it should be possible in GC, too.
