THAT was a rip off then. You could just make some with an open glass tube, LEDs, some whitish powder stuff (IDK what its called), and some batteries.

I'm sorry you'll have to explain. I don't think this looks at all like neon. Just call it LED surely? Why call it neon? It must be easier to make. But it still doesn't look like neon. Not at all.
