Justin Reynolds' shot put the Jaguars (16-9) up 16-8 after the first period. He finished with 18 pts. The Chicago King senior guard fired in a 55-ft shot that banked in at the 1st-quarter buzzer that helped the host Jaguars build an early lead it never lost. The host Jaguars held off a monster game by Perspectives star Anthony Davis to oust the Wolves 60-53 in a Class 3A regional semifinal.
"I saw the ball on the floor, I picked it up and I just tried to get a shot off," Reynolds said. "I'd never hit a shot like that before."
"That was a great shot," Davis said. "At first I thought about trying to block it, but I thought there was no way it was going in."
