Wow this really is a blast from the past! Armoured Angel were an awesome band. I used to go see them at the Civic Youth Centre way back in '88-'89. I rember a couple of great gigs when they supported Addictive (another awesome Aussie metal band from back in the day).

I am only 19 but I was brought up with metal via my parents and I must agree with you!!!! The metal industry in oz was really hard 25 years ago and I respect much all of the pioneers that have made it possible for me to work in the industry and enjoy the music
I love so much!!!

great band. saw them blow Bolt Thrower off the stage in 1993. great shame that the original (well, 1987 onwards) lineup never recorded a full length. loved Matt's guitar playing.

Arugeably Australia's best ever death metal band! I saw these guys several times - amazing stuff...and sooooooooooo dark sounding!

I've been listening to extreme metal since 1987 (before you were apparently born)... listening to Armoured Angel since 93 (when you were 4)... the AA Metal For the Brain gig that Pyro posted here came courtesy of myself)
One thing I especially hate in the current generation of metal fans is those who posit themselves as some sort of experts on shit they know nothing about. It makes me want to vomit. You kids have no respect for the elders and not even the slightest iota the work in those days.
