Fans had knocked over sections of fence and were entering without tickets. There is no footage of the band, but you can hear the show. At one point Pearl Jam's tour manager, Eric makes an appearance and is not happy about how security is handled things.

haha, that was the best night!! two rows of flimsy fences, the police on the horses - everyone chanting "kill the pigs kill the pigs", someone yells out "kill the horse" and all the hippies go "noooo!" We started trying to knock down our section of fence and this crazy dude in a red flanny kicking the crap out of one section of fence, when it knocked down the whole crowd sort of surged backward in shock, paused then ran! we ran so fast and hard we ended up right near front row! best concert ever

I was at this show, it was just mad. One minute we were many and then 15 minutes later the amphitheater was FILLED with people as far as the eye can see. Great atmosphere and an incredible show.

I remember seeing this on the news at the time - wasn't it something huge like 10,000 people outside that broke down the fences? Incredible! They were huge back in the 90's in Australia...

i was there, im in this video getting in for FREEEEE!!! tried jumping the fence (with about 30others) during the meanies and got kicked out, then this :))) love seeing the police watching everyone just walk passed as if they paid, very funny!

Was there that night . best concert ever . When the fences came down and people started pouring in you could feel the surge all the way to front of stage .

Vibe was electric and everyone was amped.

yeah i was there, with my ex and my then grilfriend (who is now my wife :) ) my ex got squoched and went to hos with my then girlfriend and i stayed and watched the whole show! ooh yeah!
