StarBurst the Baby Sun Conure

This is my baby sun conure StarBurst. He's about 5 months old now and I'm his favorite person. He'd stay on my shoulder all day if I let him. I'm trying to teach him how to make kissy sounds, which is why I was doing it in this vid. He Gives kisses, just without sound. Anyone have any tips on how to get these little guys to talk? I've been succesfull in getting him not to bite and cut down the screaching, so i think it's time to talk. What do you think? isn't he the cutest thing? (actually i'm not sure if it's a "he")

Unfortunately conures are not good talkers. Very few of them learn to say a couple of words like "ok". It is highly unlikely your bird will talk. We have a sun conure and his repertoire is limited to quacks, loud squawks and purring sounds. We love him anyway.

Beautiful bird! I have a 12 weeks Sun Conure like StarBurst. Mine is barely weaned, Suns are the cutest thing!

I just got a 10 month old sun Conure named Osito. Even though we just got her today, she is super friendly and will crawl up on my shoulder and sit there for a while. She is super cute and friendly :)

What a little sweetheart! My Sun "Skittles" is sweet too (unlike my Starburst who is, as you know, mean, lol). Suns are such awesome birds! I was looking for more videos of your Starburst and there aren't any, : (
