I actually thought things would change in this years election, but I guess I was wrong. Now Iran will become even more radical, and that wont help much on the nuclear issue that Israel and the Arabs fear.

Agreed with everything, but don't forget Iran was attacked by Iraq, the mullah's didn't start that war. It was a war started by the US trying to beat the Islamic Regime. Iran defended its borders against the invasion - effectively defeating the US. But yes, everything else you said is right on point.

If western nations want to have a nuke free Middle East, they should maybe start with removing them from the only ME country that has them in their hot-headed stepchild aka Israel, only then can they have some ground to stand on in asking the other ME countries to not have them
