@LittleTimeOff, that depends on what kind of absorber you have put there.. it doesn't have to be a directional one you know, look at the ones connecting a body to a frame on a truck, they are not single directional they work both ways equally good though you need to have the "plane"-level at the center of the displacement.
Sorry for bad english.

the shock absorber shouldn't go "IN" when the frame rises. it should "Pull Out" when the frame rises

What is all the linkage for that shock. Im curious. Honestly I don't understand the point at all.

Nice setup.

well i dont care what all the other "know it alls" say... it looks very very cool and reminds me alot of the polaris rush rear suspension on the snowmobile... might work pretty good!!

hey this might be one of the best air ride setups i seen.. this guy here totally got creative
by mounting the shock the way we did, we were able to utilize a 8" travel shock and still maintain 16" of travel in the suspension, while keeping all of the suspension components below the frame rails and inside the body.

The reason why we setup the shock mount this way is because the rear suspension has 16+ inches of travel an there was no where to mount the shock (in a traditional manner) and clear all of the moving suspension components and exhaust. We would have had to have a offroad style shock with 16 inches of travel and it would have stuck up above the frame rails on some ridiculously large shock mount.
