@merrywendsday Compared to real life mythology, she'd be a combination of the Grim Reaper (Sending souls to their deaths), Charon (Ferrying souls across the river styx, which in Japan is the Sanzu River), and the Erinyes(Carrying out acts of vengeance, relating to formed or broken oaths)

I agree. At the same time though, for me it was sad in a good way, and bad. x.x

At the very least the girl was accepted into heaven as the demon let her pass with the condition of Ai's greater sacrifice of eternal service. I suppose from that, she really did love her enough to do such a thing. They also suffered the same soul shattering experience that brought them to such a limbo that trapped them in the mortal world.
