Two women forced to deal with the ugly specter of domestic violence find support in one another in this made-for-television drama, inspired by a true story. Beth (Donna Mills) has spent years in a violent relationship with her husband Tim (Corbin Bernsen), who batters her on a regular basis. One day, Beth reaches the end of her rope, packing up her daughter and leaving her husband behind. Tim, however, isn't about to let Beth go, and begins following her every move. In order to put an end to his stalking, Beth enters a shelter for abused women, where she meets Kaye (Robin Givens), a fellow beaten spouse. Beth and Kaye become fast friends, and they decide to find a house together. However, Kaye unfortunately also has a husband who refuses to leave her be, and when her former spouse violently attacks her, it's up to Beth to see that justice is done.

  • She's in the Witness Protection Program and they bring her back to her hometown, using her "new" name in court, letting the whole city know...? There's something wrong with that.

  • I cannot stand man like this, LEAVE LEAVE her her get alone with her life there are other women out there.

  • That was so refreshing to see a witness telling off that cocky attorney. I always hate it when lawyers twist things around, make the witness look either like a liar or incompetent, and take the focus off the real issues just so they can look like a hot shot and win their case. They're always so impressed with themselves, it's nauseating.

  • He just called her Beth, even when the lawyer called her "Mrs. Barrett." It's Jean! They keep screwing the names!

  • the check in partner said she'll pick "laurie" up from school....i thought her name was shelly lol

  • If you knew there was someone who wanted to hurt or kill you, wouldn't you ultra paranoid and keep doors locked, look around for anything suspicious? I should would! Men (or women) who abuse their spouses should be locked up as the vicious criminals they are for a long, long time!

  • she is a STRONG mother...

  • @vabeach94 Hahaha!! That won't do any good!!

  • @vabeach94 A piece of paper will not stop someone who honestly believes that he's done nothing wrong.

Abusers like Tim ignore restraining orders every day.

  • I don't understand? Why can't she just get a restraining order?

  • each video of every part ends at an interesting scene, that you have to see what happens next

  • The worst thing is that as crazy as it seems, there are guys like this who just will not let go.
