climate change isn't that big of a deal. the Earth is getting hotter, the Earth WAS a lot hotter. then it got a lot colder. then it heated up again.

it's pretty arrogant of us to assume we have such a profound impact on the planet.

worst case scenario, we all die...eventually. it's bound to happen sooner or later! Plus who really cares if the human race or Earth survives or not? just us. the universe wont miss us =(

Furthermore, stating "truth" as your thesis is fallacious. Truth is a concept, and the very basis of it is debatable.

Here is an example of a "Thesis" in regards to Global warming.

I believe there is sufficient evidence in regards to history, politics, and scientific fact to refute the claim that C02 is driving climate change.

The fact is that 2-50 million years ago the organisms were way different. With levels of CO2 that high it would cause massive bleaching of corals which depend on stable conditions and the hundreds of species which depends on corals, including humans will suffer.

The fact is, sure the earth will bounce back but how many millions of people that depend on the fish and the protection of corals suffer?

clevername333. I now see that you've had skeptical arguments, not always good ones, but anyway... E g your argument isn't valid on CO2 concentration; CO2 is a stronger GHG than H2O.

I agree with your skeptical veiw, and you ask me "What thesis or point are you offering for debate?". Offering? Hopefully the truth. Your question shows you are not clever.

clevername333. Climate models are falsified because of new knowledge on how climate works. E g PDO and AMO. NOAA scientists Compo and Sardeshmukh in a study 2008: "the most important conclusion ... is that the recent acceleration of global warming may not be occurring in quite the manner one might have imagined". Current climate models doesn't work they say.

Why is >1000 ppm propaganda? It was warmer then. Heat caused higher CO2 rate, not the other way around; see Caillon et al, Science 2003.
