"It doesn't need to be as painful as it's appearing in the mind." ... "The nature of consciousness is such that sometimes it invents a problem in order to experience transcending it."
"Listen soberly: Just be 'I Am'; just stay here! ... There's nothing that can stop you from following this simple advice."(Mooji)

  • @uuusmar "I" was in this stage too. "I" had to relax and let the background of awareness push through all thought. "I" think too many people struggle for awareness. Struggle for silence is noise trying to quiet noise. Silence is the background and all noise exists in silence. Feelings can be felt in that silence.

  • @wonderlandstop007 The 'boxing match' is taking place between two imagined characters; as you say, your true identity is outside the ring. The one who perceives progress.is also illusory - appearing to/on awareness through memory-thoughts. I've found some of these sub-characters can be very subtle in achieving my belief/attention!

  • I think the biggest problem for me is that this has given me a different definition of "I"... You are this I as well, and you can be pointed to this. It is so hard to explain, and it is so subtle. Before I was introduced to Mooji I had seen thought. I saw thought as a process. Now I refer to my state (in mind) as having glimpsed consciousness... But I must allow this too to leave.

  • There is a path to the source that allows what this man wants... BUT there are no writings about it. It has something to do with knowledge. I only found 1 mention of this path. I don't know where I read it. BUT I did know about it before hand. In fact I was going to try that path.

  • can someone direct me to a talk by mooji regarding the I AM which he talks about around mins 28-30.

its is very distracting with the broken finger dude looking for an easy way out.

    thanks

  • They dont want a free man LOL

  • the fear of loss of attachment... yes, i understand this awareness, and then i perceive or rather, 'think' being in the world, on the planet for another 50 years... i do i 'be' / 'do' in the world, ... i am able to achieve simply awareness, and / but... the world does not operate in satsang... how to just allow, and 'be' of service, create a purpose. It is wonderful philosophy, ????

  • Mooji, Your wisdom and generosity astounds ! ... it's allowing me (finally) to let life just happen (sometimes) .... Is there an even greater challenge for people with much conditioned masochism built into their ego ?... (I think this man has the same problem) ... I still observe a boxing match that goes on between me (ego) and me (the real one) ... but I see progress, because now, I'm watching the match from outside, rather than inside, the ring .... Am I right ? Comments welcomed !!....

  • Yay Mooji. I can totally identify with that guy asking Q's....he seems like he's spent so many years using his head that he's lost touch with his feelings, anything below the neck....unbalanced, not much 'love'....little joy.....re-learn how to FEEL. When there's words (spoken or thought) it's mind....when you let the words run out, and you feel your body, like Eckhart Tolle suggests, then over time the brain relearns how to feel....and you're on your way.... :)) (soon it feels good!)

  • Wow.. so simple yet so powerful. i feel it and i give thanks for this truth bless!
