If you folks want to hear a great medley of her songs find Dana Winner on you-tube. She is a fantastic singer from Belgium that has a strong, clear voice and sings very popular music from years ago till now. She also does a medley of ABBA songs. Heck everything she sings is great.

I used to have most of her albums. One of the most beautiful voices ever. Bert Bacharach was no fool. He helped to launch her career.

Karen had such a powerful voice and during the 1970's one of the most underrated voices!! Yet, here she is in 2011, still being revered as one of the greatest female vocalists of all time and takes her stance by Ella, Barbra, Nina, Judy, Julie....

Has there ever been a greater voice in popular music than Karen Carpenter's? Her voice is reminiscent of warm syrup, so sweet and beautiful and full of love. I could listen to her sing anything. What a tragic loss.
