  • Built many times. Try metal next time. It transfers more heat. I hate to say it. But leave it to college people to use plastic drier hoses. Ever seen the "pop can solar heater"?

  • @johnnnyreb51 It's aluminum dryer duct that has been spray-painted black.

  • Nice bro, keep it up.

    Peace

  • what happens when its raining or cloudy out? NY gets a lot of rain

  • What is all this anti post secondary schooling bias doing for anything?????

Guess we don't need food supplies, warehouses,or restaraunts checked for ecoli bacteria?

  • solid alum flexible dryer vent next time , but nice proof of concept

  • Hey, college boy - try using a more conductive heat collector, NOT AN INSULATED ONE.

You are literally holding the heat out of your system.

  • Very poorly built, this provides no true data at all

when built correctly these heaters can achieve temps of 200 to 250F or 93 to 121C when using aluminum stacks. Even for a demo version you should be ashamed not proud of this Thing?
