pointless to keep driving the vehicle (DMT) if you have already reached your destination, or if you have no destination at all. This song is not about the Tool (vehicle, DMT, etc.) but rather about the End (destination, awakenng, enlightenment, etc.) Listen to Intension, and maybe you will heed Maynard's warning about using drugs to achieve this feat. In Intension, Maynard mentions X (MDMA) and Yogi DMT (5-MeO-DMT, aka Toad Venom).

One testament that the song is not about DMT. i suppose one could argue that DMT usage is one way of going beyond the lines of reason, however. ;)

Newborns see only in Black & White. Eventually, their eyes develop the ability to see red, & yellow. When a baby looks at these shades & colors, the baby reaches out for it. New parents are often encouraged to hang B&W, & red, yellow, around a baby's crib. Having said that, go from there with this song.

Tool is not to be anti-people. They openly embrace love of humanity otherwise they would not be a "Tool" in aiding this world. Rather, they speak for salvation/enlightenment for all beings... they speak against nonsense & illusion, not ppl personally. my take on it all. Tool isn't about Maynard, they are complete only together, why do we single Maynard's words out? the objective is to hear their songs as a whole, not just Maynard.
