Bedford ran the first lap in less then 61 seconds. Crazy !
Why Puttemans did not simply follow at the end of pack ? Other runners would cetainly got tired.. This is of course about tactics. Yes, Puttemans ran bether against a clock.
But he got silver in this race.

@YiftertheShifter1 Viren, has ADMITTED that he does blood dopping. Their is nothing wrong with it. It is LEGAL as far as we all know, but for you to say Viren did not do blood dopping , just shows you don't have the full background. Viren was a blood dopper, he admitted it himself, as everybody who is anybody really knows. I'm glad that I have corrected you on this issue. But don't make this mistake again. You should read more on running.

There was american doping case in Munchen. Swimmer Rick DeMont was catched. You Americans are last people to accuse any other to be dopers.
Pre was fourth in Munchen. There was three better runners ahead of him. All of them tested clean.
Lasse Viren has never been in "college" he was educated here in FInland. He used to go school in Myrskylä and Otaniemi. He was a police by education.
