The Gaggle prototype on show (it's the small box with sensors sprouting from it) has been imagined and developed in order to experiment with new interfaces for music, and primarily with the link between sensor (in this case pings), arduino board and SuperCollider audio language. Data concerning proximity passes to SuperCollider via the Arduino board. The data triggers and modulates different sounds, all of which are synthesised and live.
This performance was one given at the Open House Festival of the Human Computer Interaction 2009 Conference in Cambridge UK.
