This was recorded when Kumara was 14--this is a song she performed at the Concours de Musique in Sillery,Apr 2005. Music by Handel-not sure about the lyrics.Kumara is now (2007 ) a student at the Conservatoire de Musique de Quebec studying with well known Canadian soprano Helene Fortin.

This is from the opera of Alcina. You sing the role of Alcina and she got dumped by Ruggiero. The way you're singing this aria is too sweet. Try to understand the translation for this. I expect to be more dramatic singing this.
