    Most are using Sensored brushless systems from companies like Novak, Tekin, Speedpassion.

    I THINK that this was a spec class with 17.5 motors. See the Novak or Tekin websites for more info.

  • This needs to be on Speed Channel, make this hobby big and well known.

    This was the National Championships, so " box stock" may not mean what it does to others. RTR versions these weren't

    Most of these were box stock "kit" versions (the ones you assembly that don't come with electronics) with lipo batteries and brushless motors and speed controls from a variety of ROAR approved sources.

    And good servos!

    All of what you see in the video can be bought at the average hobby store.

    One of the top cars was built the night before the A mains!
