I really hate Emma to be honest. She was NOTHING before Joe Bitchass Quesada gave her Jean's "spot".

@medwards212 Well technically depending on who is writing the comics (just that one guy I can't remember his name) Emma is an omega level telepath. But really she isn't she is just a very powerful telepath and even with Omega powers Jean would still beat her even without the Phoenix forces because she is an Omega telepath AND telekenic, with one thought she could shatter Emma's diamond form. If Emma was an omega she could control the phoenix but she couldn't and Jean had to help her. Endsong?

but i like Emma more than Jean. without PF Jean's character has nothing to remember at all. Emma is a bitch and that's what we remember about her. and i love her accent in the wolverine and the X-men animation a lot!

@medwards212 She keep dying because she is the Phoenix (you do know the history fo the mythological bird right, the meaning?) Emma only won against Xavier ONE TIME in Legacy #216 because she use psychic prep (meaning she cheated) Even without the FP Jean should win because of her Omega Level Mutant category and being trained by the ''most powerful telepath'' Professor X. Emma isn't inmmune to Xavier, No Girl or Jean telepathy, even in her diamond form...

If jeans so great why does she keep dying and Emma is also an omega level mutant who at a few points even bested Xavier and she has personality jean was just kinda boring to me if you refer to the comics and jean didn't have the Phoenix force Emma frost would win period she can turn into her diamond form and is then almost physically as strong as colossus and immune to psychic attacks though she can't use her own

@polaris5411 What!?? Are you serious?? 0_o Jean IS omega level mutant! Without the PF she has unlimited raw power and with the PF she, well can EAT galaxies ;) And Emma became the host of PF only brieftly and she couldn't control it due to not having Omega-level power. You can like Emma but she loses against everytime.

Jean as the original Marvel Girl may have been inhibited b/c of her inexperience. However, despite initially seeming to be overwhelmingly powerful, Emma Frost never really could match the Phoenix or for that matter Ms. Grey/Summers, once she'd mastered her powers.
