An update on the battery. I stopped the wheel this morning. It was down to 12.11 volts. My pot needs to be bigger. I turned the pot all the way down and it still needed more ohmage. I will put a heavier pot on it and re-start it tonight or tomorrow. Hi Monkey...I moved and have a nice warm workbench indoors now :))

nice one dude. let's see what happens. by the way what is the history of that battery ? is it in good condition ? i heard you should do 20 charge/C20 discharge cycles to get it 'conditioned' to be able to charge easily with the radiant.

keep us posted on the battery voltage ... Im predicting it will run for at least 7 days ... how about hanging an inductive heater off the wheel and keeping the garage warm for the winter :o)
