  • Thanks for catching that. Well "achcha" is more or less used similar to "good" in English. So you can say This TV is good, This game is good, He is good, I am good etc. similarly in Hindi you can say, "yeh TV achcha hai", Yeh game achcha hai, wo achcha hai, main achcha hun but when it is plural number then it will be achche instead of achcha, They are good = "woh achche hain", these toys are good= yeh khilone achche hain. Hope that clears the confusion little bit.

  • i am a new fan of u here.

i am very much interested in learning hindi.

im gonna watch more videos of u.

but can u please translate this to me? "sach main bht khubsurat lag rhi ho"

    tanx in advance.

    Bahut achache!!

  • @liz143100

Translation for "sach main bht khubsurat lag rhi ho" would be:

    "you are looking really beautiful"

    good luck :)

  • Yea I got so confused when watching this. But I did learn a little bit :) How do you know which words are feminine and which are masculine when using mera/meri..like mera fan and meri chair?? That I don't get!

  • @8270361507

hmm.... tough question :-( need face to face explanation probably but still will give it a try...

    cellphone -masculine (mera cellphone)

    house - masculine (mera ghar)

    place - feminine (meri jagah)

    eyes - F (meri aankh)

    mouth - M (mera mooh)

well this is really tough how to identify whether this is masculine/feminine but there are languages which distinguish these. And all of these languages have same words masculine or feminine.

  • @itwasnoteasy this it great! i want express my great appreaciation for these lesson's. i used aur kya chal reha hai?, the other day and it took a while for the person to understand what i was saying, but they eventually got it. will my pronounciation get better as i keep on practicing?

  • @nini21inlove

it may have taken a while for them as they wouldn't have expected a statement in hindi from you. But yes keep practicing. Listen carefully and try to reproduce same sound eventually you will get there and you don't have to reach 100% perfect :-).
