Amazing work..
It's incredible how high school students can make music that touches people's hearts. This certainly touched mine.
Well done.

amazing, simply breathtaking...if the sound quality of this video is considered miserable, then i'm a monkey's uncle. If i had heard a high quality version of this performance, then i probably would hve fainted from it's brilliance.

The beginning is way too slow
-
@OhioBandDad That makes me laugh.
-
I played this in 9th grade! I had the suspended cymbal part
-
your first clarinetist needs to learn to support her tone, it sounds of tune because it's a throat tone and not given enough air, thus making the tone waiver and sound horrid! Beautiful oboe solo however, the best I've heard it played! I do think this piece is overrated, but it's still amazingly beautiful. great job.

@hansloas The solo is written for euphonium but was played in this performance by the first chair french horn. That young lady is now in the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.
-
This is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
!!!!!!!!!! -
Even for a euphonium player who played that solo, that french hornist plays it soooooo much better. Awesome performance completely flawless!!!
-
yeah the solo is for euphonium.. but it sounds like a french horn played this one.
-
this is really pretty!
-
Trust me on this...I really really know it's a French Horn playing the solo part in this performance ;)

Awesome!!! My band recently played it this year. At 2:33, was a Euphonium used for the solo? (Reason is that I, being a Euphonium player and all, had to play this solo lol)

Not an easy solo! In this band it was played by French Horn.
