I am a long time Fender man. But i had Gibsons too, back in my start. Now they really make some nice ass basses. I have owned Ibanez,Traben,Ocean(Laguna),Wa­rmouth,Warwick,Cort and Squier. They all had very good things about them. Cost can be a factor The player makes the bass, not the bass makes the player.
