Yeah, I was having coffee with Jesus Christ the other day, and that's exactly what he said!

Oh sure, and also in children's nonfiction, if they have their own history section there are also books in general about the gunslingers, outlaws, law men, ghost towns, and the wild west in general, among many other topics.

Yes, at the library where I live there's an old children's biography on Jesse James, I think they must have printed those for kids somewhere around the time of these shows, or a little earlier. That was back when they actually thought kids were interested in that kind of stuff, good luck with that today.

But Billy only killed 4 people in his whole life, 1st case, self defense, 2nd case, a duel, 3 and 4, deputies from when he was escaping the jail that he didn't really belong in anyway since he defended himself.

Not if they were children's books and there did use to be books printed for children about Billy the Kid and Jesse James, etc.

They were probably hard books to understand for kids that age.

I think the old feller is getting his outlaws mixed up, it was Billy the Kid who was known for shooting people in the back.

I wonder if Mr. Collins would educate Bobby on the heroic acts of George Armstrong Custer?Or the bravery of John Chivington at Sand Creek.
