  • I remember playing this level on Battlefield 3...

  • As soon as the plane hits the deck, the pilot will push the engines to full power, instead of slowing down, to bring the plane to a stop. This may seem counterintuitive, but if the tailhook doesn't catch any of the arresting wires, the plane needs to be moving fast enough to take off again and come around for another pass.Hope that helps.Landing on a flight deck is one of the most difficult things a Navy Pilot will ever do.

  • @TdCC1855 This is the T-45 Goshawk, a highly modified version of the BAE Hawk and it is Manufactured by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) and British Aerospace (now BAE Systems). It was made in the US and it would be ignorant not to change the name considering one is designed for war and the other is for training...T (training) 45

  • @TdCC1855 not really mate, they didn't "take" it, we sold it to them. If anything you should be proud that for once the Americans used our tech instead of their own. Plus its been modified beyond recognition which its why the name is different (that and all US jets have a letter that designates purpose e.g. T for trainer). This just proves the versatility of the Hawk airframe.

  • do it again, an again....

  • The Americans taking the wonderful BAe Hawk (Because they can noit make their own trainer) changing it's name and well, being ignorant as uaual.

  • Landing seemed a little hard but you nailed it. 3 wire?

  • That's what I call flying... Nice!

  • 2:10 GET OUTTA THERE!!!

  • I was wondering why the motors seemed to be wound up so high. IT'S A T45. Of course. I've forgotten soooo much.
