  • hi got a tortise table few days ago and wondering do i leave the heatlamp on overnight for my tortises or not?

  • @vBrownie1 no, if it's a Mediterranean tortoise it should drop to room temperature at night

  • Is there any types of tortoise that you dont need to heat, and will stay out in summer and then I can hibernate in winter?

  • @Mineshack in the UK? No. Millions of 'garden tortoises' have been imported into the UK over the years. The sad truth is that 99.9% of them are now dead. Our climate isn't suitable

  • @ArtHerpetologist Yes greek tortoises are mediterranean hibernating tortoises.
