.. SOLD.. murphy was sold within 18hours of being advertised - we wish him the best of luck and fun with his new owners.
6year old 16hh irish sporthorse. Fabulous paces and headcarriage- scope to burn and an attiude to die for. First time we took him cross country he jumped novice B.E fences, jumped into water and jumped ditches with no problem.
Murphy is the type of horse suited to anyone- he would thrive most with a confident teen/adult who would like a project- would make a perfect pony club star or potential riding club champs/grassroots champs horse. Easy to do, has the scope and quality of a competition horse but still has a willing calm brain.
At his first ever competition(BE80CM at iping) He was wonderfully behaved- scored 36 dressage in a high scoring section with a pole showjumping(jumped all the fillers beautiully) and flew round the cross country with a clear round. Unfortunately his daft rider(me) carried a whip in the dressage so it shows as eliminated on his record.
Jumps anything you put infront of him, loves life and his owner! no vices at all, travels well, comes in from the field, easy to hack, hunts beautifully, good with farrier etc..
