  • Halliburton, Dyncorp, Lockheed, Blackwater...all guilty of fraud on an absolutely gigantic scale (and the Pentagon is complicit in it), but not a word from Fox.

It seems they think its okay to steal from the taxpayer if you are a military contractor.

  • Cenk, its not that our press is dumb, its that they are bought and paid for. Big business and politicians want to keep the public from hearing real news to keep us ignorant and under their thumb. Fox news is the worst. MSNBC atleast tries to gives us some decent news, but they don't always succeed. All the other news networks out their are just as lame. Its pretty bad when you actually start watching shows like The Daily Show for their news content.

  • Okay. Make up the lawsuit. I don't care.

  • dude your retarded. it was some gay and lesbian couples in asbury park sueing the state of new jersy for same sex marriage rights. now you look it up and read it and stop taliking out of your ass. lambdalegal . org

  • Yes they do and yes they can.

There was an instance in New Jersey where a lesbian couple wanted to get married in a park owned by a church. The church wouldn't allow it, but the couple sued. They won the lawsuit because the church was receiving tax dollars from the government to keep the park neat and clean. Feel free to look this up on google.

  • churches aren't considered charities.

the seperation of church and state has been in effect since the pilgrims got here. religions don't pay taxes, nor do they receive any money from the government, ever. their money comes from the people who attend whatever the particular church. there are no tax write-offs for giving to the church.

  • Since churches are considered charities, they can write up all the money they used for charitable goods and services and get the money from the feds, just like any other charity.

Same goes for if a person who donates to a church. They can write it off on their taxes.

  • i don't get it.

what churches in america get tax payer funds?

  • of course Faux isn't going to cover it...i mean... did you expect them to? hahahaha
