This short clip from the film 'Animals Are Beautiful People' is a perfect metaphor for how mankind (personified by the baboon) is a victim of its own stupidity and greed. The baboon is trapped by its unwillingness to let go of the melon seeds in pretty much the same way that mankind is unwilling to let go of its dependence on consumerism. This clip has been uploaded in the faithful belief that it constitutes fair use. If there is objection by the copyright holder it will be removed without objection.

@questionsleadtotruth Thank you! There are prob quite a few of these avail on YouTube. I just really liked it when I saw it on the internet elsewhere and wanted to share it. I also read recently that another culture has used the same idea of tempting a monkey with a treat in a hole to just plain catch them. I wonder if they got the idea from these people.
