I'm in the military (us air force), and don't get me wrong.... but when you work for the government... like teaching, military, postal service, fire department, police...etc... you don't work for pay you work because you're proud of what you do to serve the country you live in. What ever happen to a love for your country? The government system we have is intended for low taxes, and that's what made this country great. I'm in the military, but the money should be for weapons, and not wages.

that's their choice.... they know the pay scale, and know the requirements for the job as a teacher. Just like Christie says, "if you don't like it, you don't have to do it."

"Passes out medicine and talks to patients?!?!" Who the hell ever taught you about what a nurse does? That was the most out-of-touch comment I have ever read! And for the record, I make a hell of a lot less money as an RN than that teacher is quoted to be making in the tape. If nursing were ONLY about handing out medication (which apparently you need to be educated that it's NOT) - just that job alone would be pretty damn important given that i could accidently kill you with a medication error!
