Cześć. Jak się masz? What can I say? Sorry for the delay. This is not the final version. It's still a WORK IN PROGRESS. I looked for like two months for someone who could help me with the audio post-production and a composer to create an original song for the disco scene and truth is I got sick of waiting, so I apologize for the bad audio quality.
Now, it was hard to film this one with only three film cans which equal to about twenty-seven minutes, giving us the possibility to shoot only two or three takes of one shot and in many cases just one take.

I don't care if this is my worst short-film or not good enough. It was beautiful filming it with such nice people. It was an awesome experience, very exhausting and a fucked-up roller coaster of emotions, but awesome all in all and I'm very, very grateful to everyone who was part of it.
We filmed this on super 16mm with the ARRI SR3 camera. It's the first time most of us were responsible for such a big project with so many locations, actors and filming at extreme hours. It took us two days to film it. First day we shot the club and street scenes, and on the second day we shot the park and bathroom scenes. The second day was messed up. We started at four in the afternoon and finished at nine in the morning of the next day, more than seventeen hours without sleeping and barely resting and freezing our asses, plus a few hours more that we spent returning the equipments and taking the actors home.

On this project I decided not to work with professional actors or theatre students and experiment with non-actors. I thought it would give the story more realism and a different rhythm. The experience was great, although since none of the actors had been in front a camera before, it wasn't easy to make them feel safe and comfortable, even though they're my friends from high-school.
Another problem we had apart from filming at such hours and with so many actors and doing the pre-production in less than two weeks—while we had a bunch of other important stuff to do for college—, was that we were short on crew. We were at least four people short and it was very hard to keep everyone concentrated with so many things we had to do at the same time. But we made it, I think. I swear I spent almost a week without believing we had made it, and to tell you the truth, I didn't care about the results. I find this short-film a bit soulless and dishonest, but maybe that's just me, I don't know. I just wanted to make this short because I wanted to direct several actors, create better characters, show off my ability for dialogues and most of all, show an empty, artificial lifestyle, with no purpose, no direction, no passion.
I think that's pretty much all I can say about this short-film. There's a lot more to tell; a lot of stories, a lot of laughs, a lot of headaches, a lot of frustrations, but I won't abuse. Thank you for watching and I always appreciate every comment and vote.
