  • I totally freaked out as soon as I heard the opening chords for this song.

I hated how everyone in my section essentially stopped paying attention as soon as the song started. They seemed utterly indifferent to this beautiful, deep track. Granted, it's an obscure song, but the applause at the end of the song was lukewarm.

It deserved a better response than it got. The band dropped the song for the second TO performance, and I fear for its longevity on the setlist. :(

  • Outstanding. Was tremendous to finally hear this in concert. What a great 2 nights it has been with U2 in Toronto.

  • To hear this performed live was so incredible. The fact is that Passengers: Original Soundtracks 1 is a little-known U2 project that has not had much exposure. I was really disappointed in the crowds response. That hauntingly beautiful voice you hear, backing Bono, is a pre-recording of Sinéad O'Connor. I hope they reintroduce it for the 2011 tour. I'll be seeing them in Montreal.

  • one of my favourites. they should have played this in europe last summer. hope they'll play it in some years.

  • @Droorogers that is because most people just want to here Pride and Streets and crap like that. It is a shame like you said that people dont respond to an obscure song from the best band in the world. I would like to see a full show with obscure material that they dont play. Could you imagine Hawkmoon, I threw a brick, Seconds and other material that has been lost in the live material.

  • I can see you too. :)

  • haha nice. I'm half way to your total. Only seen'em 14 times total. I'd love to hear this again. They should bust it out in Europe next time. I have a feeling the crowds over there would appreciate it more. For selfish reasons maybe they coudl pay it in Athens or/and Seville ;-)

  • this show was the 28 th time i seen the band live and i had to pull my Bvlgari's off with respect to here such a obscure song from them being played live.... cant wait till summer 2010 to see the boys a few more times...

  • I can see me!

  • I saw them four times in 3 cities last fall and this performance right here was the absolute highlight no question. I knew they were rehearsing it and knew they played it in Chicago but still I thought it was gonna fall flat. Just didn't' seem like concert type song but I was blown away. Stunned really at how emotional and powerful it was. I hope they bring it back on the next leg.

  • does anyone know what the ending lyrics are ? they seem to differ from the chicago show. actually loved the chicago ending.

  • I'm so sad it wasn't filmed for the DVD. I wanted to know what those extra lyrics Bono was singing were.
