This is one of the most useful of the aphorisms in Epictetus' Enchiridion. But can it help when the worst thing possible has happened?

  • I think the Harmonists might approve of this video, except of course, you aren't quoting from the Bible. Interesting ideas, well put together. The only troubling image is the two anttenae sticking out from the sides of your head as you talk.  Look, and you shall see them.

  • Very thought provoking. I wonder if the Enchiridion might help more in the prevention of worry about things that haven't occurred but might, as opposed with making sense of things that have happened but shouldn't have.
