@ThisMakesMeThink its not really the roads or the weight. Its the bureaucrats. In NZ we pay road tax by the tonne/km, more axles means you pay less road tax. It might save a bit of wear to the road, but the result is these odd-ball, inefficient (IMHO) set-ups
I'm from America, and I'm just curious about why there are so many more axels and wheels on your trucks. Is it because the roads can't handle as much weight? Thanks! :D
