  • @ThisMakesMeThink its not really the roads or the weight. Its the bureaucrats. In NZ we pay road tax by the tonne/km, more axles means you pay less road tax. It might save a bit of wear to the road, but the result is these odd-ball, inefficient (IMHO) set-ups

  • @ThisMakesMeThink it helps you get the truck around those sharp corners and kinda makes it more comfortable to drive on the road

  • I'm from America, and I'm just curious about why there are so many more axels and wheels on your trucks. Is it because the roads can't handle as much weight? Thanks! :D
