@iggybrowsandunicorns Untrue- it was to confuse invaders, they reversed the names so people couldn't find the settlements as easily
-
we got the same thing in the faroe island, the workers that build roads on/close by the rock's where the hidden people lived (also called huldu fólk in faroese) got dreams/curses from them and so on,
one stone they tried to blow up was a total failure, they stuffed it with explosives and it only blew 1/5 parts of the stone
-
i always wanted to be a elf
-
Hidden... like when Jesus is hidden in your room... creepily watching you masturbate.

I was trying to find mexican elfos stuff.
but in english.
THIS is WHAT I GET!?!
I don't see why people are so surprised by the fact that many icelanders believe in elves. Most people in the world believe in forces they can't see, they call it god, allah, angels and many more things.
I haven't seen one but I have never had a reason to doubt they exist.
I didn't really like this reporters story, it was quite silly and laughable.
I can try to see why he'd be sceptic and sarcastic but unseen forces seem so natural to me.
