Yes the stuff on that tape would be youtube gold dust now, unfortunately I've lost touch with him he sold up and went to live abroad somewhere. I like your star trek video btw.

It's a ring modulater program that makes your voice sound like a dalek.

I'll show you how. First record the sound in sound recorder. Next bring up hog and go to Ring Modulate. press Input 1 and put your sound that you just recorded. The selection tht says Wave andset it to SINE and Freq: to 31. Press the Output button and save sound under new name. Then press PROCESS and your sound will play. Then press DONE and your done.

I used to have a friend who worked in VT for the BBC, and he made up a video of outtakes (stuff the artists would never ever give permission to be shown). This included Daleks saying fuck and bollocks when they fluffed, but the best clip on the tape was of Rolf Harris in a fit of temper calling the whole crew a bunch of useless bastards.

Maybe you could coax your chum to adding to the Youtube outtakes - Rolf Harris in a bad mood sounds very watchable!
