@RCMCPREZ I've always thought this was Lawrence Matthews as well. This is one of my favorite songs by EH MASMC. Thanks for the correct info

@RCMCPREZ ...I meant "I'll be sharing some of "my" music with you all real soon." sorry about the typo...and you are right, James Mitchell does sound alot like Lawrence Matthews. The musical talents and skills that they round up at those workshops are nothing short of amazing! I sure wish they would've started recording those live concerts on video at some point...that would've been totally ridiculous to see those concerts on VHS (back in the day, lol) or DVD.

I love the amazing work that Edwin Hawkins and Kevin Bond and the rest of the camp does with the Mass Choir, and don't get me started on those killer vamps. KB has produced and arranged some of the tightest vamps in gospel music. I have five albums from the Music & Arts Seminar Mass Choir and 6 others on CD. @MrCrossIsBoss This song was actually written by James Mitchell who also sang the male lead along with Yolanda Adams. V. Michael McKay was the Head Director of the Houston M&A Chapter but as far as I know he didn't submit a song to the seminar workshop that year.

@oldtimer1965 Wow! You have hit the JACKPOT for me. I knew that this was not Lawrence Matthews dueting with Yolanda on this song (although, at times it sounds like him). But, I never knew who. You have just put it all together for me. Thank you!
