so the 180 is exactly the same as the 225? the 225 has only extra mods? like bigger turbo?..i just got a tt myself its the quattro but its a 180.. my goal is to reach around 260hp what you guy think i would need? i know for sure an intercooler but what else?

i own a 180 quattro, stage 1 tuned 240hp...believe me; it have balls ;)

@habidutl The differ a lot more between the 180 and the 225 hp version. The 225 has besides what is commented earlier also two inter-coolers and can take more MAF punishment from trimming consequences such as dump valve and open filters. Not to mention that the quattro is far better.

Best price-performance-techn you get from buying a Y2000 model (CAN bus) 225 quattro and put another £ 1000+ to zero it's service program (time belt, haldex, brake fluid, large service, spark plugs) by pro's.
