The Seeds of Liberty (www.seedsofliberty.net) sponsored a flag and sign waving session for Flag Day in Monroe WA. The intersection of Hwy 2 and Hwy 522 is a good location to be seen by a lot of traffic. We had lots of support from people driving by, but we also had a couple of people show their disapproval. This was a fun way to celebrate the 233rd birthday of the US Army.
Good show, Monroe! We are the Whatcom County 'tea partiers' and took part in the plan to 'man' every overpass on I-5 from the Columbia River to Canada and across the state from Port Townsend to Spokane ... we covered Whatcom, I don't know how the rest of the event did. We did a dry run Saturday and the real one on Sunday ... videos: Whatcom Flag Day Eve 2009, and 3-parter Whatcom Flag Day 2009 part one, part two and part three. Let us know what you think! And, again, bless you and thank you!
