I have carried for years in three different states. I have only pulled my weapon once and prevented serious injury to myself and to the other man who was carrying a jack intending to hit me with it. I held the attacker at bay until the police arrived. No one was killed or injured. I would rather have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have one.
