China's Immigration Problem:
North Korean Illegals Crossing The Border

I was mistaken in thinking this woman was protesting forced labor. She is not. This is about North Koreans crossing the frontier into China to escape widespread famine conditions, only to be rounded up by Chinese authorities and sent to prisons back in North Korea for the crime of defecting.

Gloria Kim, an immigrant from North Korea brings her message of protest to President Hu Jintao of China during his visit to Chicago. January 21, 2011

  • fucking lame, do America accept visa for North Korean refugees, NO!!!! They are fake South Korean bastards!!!!

  • @Doraemonchina

You have no idea what you're talking about. If you are a ministry stooge, your mother was a sow who prostitutes for the army and your father was a whole platoon.

  • Seriously, she was protesting at the wrong place. She should go to the S. Korean consulate. If S Korea or America is willing to take 100% of the 20MM something refugees. China will be more than happy to pass them on to S Korea. It's already crowded with 1.3B ppl, why would they accept immigrants?

  • @bushangels Maybe you should help them organize Chinese Minuteman patrols, like we have in Arizona.

  • Didn't we catch the Mexicans and send them back to Mexico? oh wait, we shoot them as well.

  • @bushangels Hohoho So funny.

  • can someone please tell me what she's saying

  • @df7604 Those refugees from the DPRK that can make it to the ROK are allowed to stay and are protected by the ROK and USA. However, most of the refugees cannot make it to the south or to US friendly territory without being, as she said, captured by the Chinese and sent back to the DPRK. If they were to try and cross directly into South Korea they would be killed by the North's border patrols - which exist to keep ppl in, not out as the US border patrol does.

  • Ironically the Chinese Government criticized the US on its immigration policies not too long ago. Lets compare the number of illegal immigrants being allowed to live in the US and get medical care, education, food stamps, etc., to the number of illegal immigrants in China and how they are treated. China actually inforces its immigration laws and sends illegals from N Korea back to N. Korea to be put in prison labor camps.

  • If people in US or South Korea would like to accept those refugee, they should do something rather than bitching about China's action. hypocrites
