But I'm sorry to say they missed over a negative this breed does have a series genetic defect if you will. They have a disposition to heart murmurs I know both my dog and my nans dog both had/have it.

I Have a Gorgeous tri colour cavalier! They are the best dogs :) just a bit lazy :)

I have a black and tan Cav called Kipper, and whilst i absolutely love him to pieces, his health has always been poor. His dad was a crufts champion and there has been so much inbreeding amongst the entire breed that so many are born with hernias, dislocated hips, etc. Mine has a heart mermer, arthritis, epilepsy, and has suffered numerous strokes. Whilst I absolutely love this breed, it's just so cruel that they have ended up like this :(
