Smoking and Pipe Smoking: Doktor Mabuse (1/2)

A clip from 'Die 1000 Augen des Dr. Mabuse', directed by Fritz Lang, Germany, 1960, starring Gerd Frobe as Kommissar Krass, showing a meeting at police headquarters after rising suspicions about the return of Doktor Mabuse. Being an ardent pipesmoker myself, I could not keep from bursting out with laughter when I started to notice that I wasn't paying any attention at all any more to the scene and the action but became totally occupied by the continuous clouds of drifting smoke. The abundant smoking in this scene is almost a sub-story line.
