Not sure if any of what he's talking about has basis in an objective reality, but I too can see "auras", and when I would get stoned I would see ghostly colors drifting about. I think I'm relatively sane; an atheist and do not believe in ghosts. Just wanted to say I can relate.

He's saying that, ever since he was young, he has seen glowing, and shadows, around people- like halos, or as they are sometimes called, auras. He's not sure whether they are real, because, now that he is on his meds, he can't see them. But Christians speak of an "anointing" which makes certain people different (able to see things that others can't see). He also sees wind when he looks at trees, and wonders if this has to do with the fact that plants produce the oxygen we breathe.
