ive raced a Fleetwood (same car as an Imp SS only 400lbs heavier) and make quick work of him

LT1 is a modders heaven though, it sucks having to custom fab anything on my N*

The re-relased midsize Impala is a heavy car compared to a caddy? It makes little difference its a 2 door. If your car is smooth, is is heavy. You would be hard pressed to find many 4 doors that are heavier than 2 door caddies and lincs.

The caddy wins easily because even though the motors do produce similar horsepower, the northstar motor has mountains more technology in the motor. Much larger powerband and a higher reving motor. And it gets probably 20% better gas mileage too.

@6V92TA thats not an lt1 in that car but the lt1 was in the 96 the lt1 smaks 280hp at 330ftls of tq. the caddilac etc is powered by a non concourse model north*. only has 275 hp at 300tq
